Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can you provide blood tests?
Yes! We partner with Nationwide Pathology, who provide phlebotomy clinics all over the UK. Results come direct to your Women’s Health GP specialist who is able to share these with you. We also intend to provide on site phlebotomy sessions at the our clinic in Stamford in the very near future.
  • Can you provide ultrasound scans?
We partner with Ultrasound Direct giving us access to in excess of 70 ultrasound clinics throughout the UK. We make referrals to them where appropriate and the results come direct to your Women’s Health GP specialist who can share them with you.
  • What if I need a referral to secondary care?
If you are local to the Lincolnshire area, we can refer directly to secondary care where needed. This includes access to the Urgent Suspicion of Cancer Pathway. For those who live further afield, if a referral is indicated, we will write directly to your registered GP informing them of this.
  • How is your work regulated?
Our company is regulated by the Care Quality Commission. Our medical clinicians are also licensed with the General Medical Council, have received full membership to the Royal College of General Practitioners and are registered on the UK National Performers List as a minimum.
  • What’s the difference between a Women’s Health Specialist GP and a gynaecologist?
A gynaecologist must complete full membership exams with the Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecologists and is a registered surgeon. A GP must complete full membership exams with the Royal College of General Practitioners. Those who wish to specialise in women’s health will then generally go on to achieve an additional Diploma with the Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecologists and/or the Faculty of Sexual & Reproductive Health. They may also seek to obtain certification in specific women’s health procedures and specialised academic areas of interest.
